A Hamlin student works on the California Coastal Clean-up

Hamlin personnel in partnership with the Parents Association Lend-a-Hand Committee provide age-appropriate service learning opportunities for Hamlin students and their families. Projects focus on children and families in San Francisco, hunger, homelessness, and the environment. A cumulative list of projects include: California Coastal Clean-up, San Francisco Food Bank, and Hamilton Family Residence tutoring, costume drives, ice cream socials, and holiday gift collection. Additionally, Hamlin's Middle School incorporates community service in its regular curriculum through off-campus activities at local non-profit organizations.
