As a head of school, I often find myself reflecting upon child development, educational trends, new research, current events, and aspects of curriculum and instruction. Indeed, educators have much to think about, and I have a passion for writing and sharing information and insights. "The 'Mane' Idea" is my monthly reflection on an issue of interest and importance to me; it is my hope that this vehicle of communication will provide a window into my values, my educational philosophy, and my leadership.
