The Hamlin School
(Hamlin) is committed to protecting the privacy of its students, their
families, alumni, employees, board of trustees and other users of
www.hamlin.org. We do not post the full names of students on the public pages
of the site. Members of the faculty and administration diligently guard against
the use of inappropriate language or imagery on the site.They also ensure adherence to our
privacy standards by monitoring student work appearing on this site. If you see
any breach of this policy on the site, please contact the school.
All of the information that we collect from you is subject
to this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. By using this site, you agree to be
bound by these terms. If you violate any of them, we reserve the right, without
prior notice to you, to take the appropriate action we deem warranted, which
may include denying you access to password-protected portions our site.
Hamlin has a secure password-protected area of the site,
HamliNet, which has different privacy rules. This area of our website is
intended to serve as a resource for the students, families, alumni, board of
trustees, and employees of the school. Those constituencies are provided access to HamliNet upon their entry
into the campus community. If you
are provided access to HamliNet, please do not share your unique log in and
password.If you need
assistance logging in or using HamliNet, please contact the website manager via
email: beck@hamlin.org. As a user, you can control access
to your personal information when you set up your profile by specifying what
information you wish to be private. Access to the password-protected portion of this site is strictly
limited to password holders, and access rights vary by the type of user.
Hamlin will not sell or rent your personally identifiable
information to anyone for any reason.
Collection of
information
We may collect IP addresses and record your computer and
browser version. This information is solely used to improve the design of our
web site and guard against malicious attacks and will not be shared with any
third-party.
E-mail privacy
If you contact the school by e-mail, your address will not
be shared with any third party. The web site contains e-mail addresses of
school employees as well as some parent volunteers. Use of this information for
private, commercial, or political mailings and/or distribution to any outside
parties is prohibited. If your e-mail address is listed and you would like it
to be removed, please contact the school.
This site may contain links to other sites. The Hamlin
School is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such web

misuse and alteration of the information under our control.

Online Giving and
Transactions
We are committed to the privacy of all our donors and to
those making any kind of transaction via the Hamlin website. Should you decide
to make an online donation or purchase, you will be asked to provide your name,
contact information, and credit card billing information. All of this
information is encrypted using SSL, an industry standard secure technology,
designed to prevent the theft or interception of the information you provide.
Credit card billing information is used only to obtain payment from the
appropriate credit card firm and to fulfill the donor’s or purchaser’s request,
and is not stored or otherwise retained by Hamlin after the transaction is
complete.
Content on the Hamlin
Website
Our site includes a combination of content that we create,
that our students create and that our users and/or visitors create. All
materials published on our site, including but not limited to written content,
photographs, graphics, images, illustrations, marks, logos, sound or video
clips, and animation are protected by our copyrights or trademarks. You may not
modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, reproduce,
create derivative works of, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, or
in any way exploit any of the materials or content on our website in whole or
in part unless specifically noted on a web page. If you would like to request
permission to use any of the content on our site for anything other than

The logo, name and all graphics on the Hamlin site are
trademarks of The Hamlin School. Use, reproduction, copying or redistribution
