HUB (Lower School Extended Day)

  • Contrary to popular belief, HUB is not an acronym. Hub is so named due to its definition: the center of activity or interest! It also happens to be in the center of the school
  • Hub sessions begin at 2:00 pm for kindergarten; at 2:15 pm for 1st – 4th grades on early dismissal Wednesdays; at 3:15 pm on all other days; and at 4:30 pm after ASA classes. All girls are chaperoned by their teachers from class to the Hub
  • All students have a snack and outside playtime upon arrival
  • Each day, girls in the Hub have the choice of an arts & crafts project; outside playtime at the structure and yard; inside playtime with games, puzzles or other activities; or working on homework in a supervised study hall
  • The Hub and After 3 join together for a Fun Friday at the end of each week. Fun Friday may include a ping pong tournament, organized games on our play yard, or the showing of a new movie with popcorn, of course!

AFTER 3 (Middle School Extended Day)

  • After 3 is the place to be after school for our middle school girls
  • After 3 runs 3:15 pm – 6:00 pm each day
  • All students have a snack and some inside or outside free time upon arrival
  • Girls attending After 3 have the choice of individual or group study hall in the After 3 Room; quiet independent study in the library; or free choice activities such as board games or crafts projects
  • The Hub and After 3 join together for a Fun Friday at the end of each week. Fun Friday may include a ping pong tournament, organized games on our play yard, or the showing of a new movie with popcorn, of course!
