Eighth grade students lead all of our admission tours. The girls are eager to introduce prospective parents to their school and to provide a peek at the school "in action." The parents appreciate having access to these eighth grade girls who can speak about their own experiences at Hamlin. After the tour, parents often comment on their tour guide’s poise, sense of confidence, and ability to articulate her love for her school. Many say that they hope their daughters will grow up to be "just like their tour guide." All seventh grade students are invited to apply to become an admission tour guide at the end of the school year. All who apply are offered the opportunity to lead tours as eighth grade guides— either as weekday or special events tour guides.
