From the PA President

Andrea Zola
Parents Association President
3rd and 6th Grade Parent

Dear Hamlin Families,

Welcome back to the 2016-17 school year! To the new families joining our community this year, a special warm welcome! My name is Andrea Zola and I am the Parents Association President for the 2016-2017 school year. I am mom to Catherine (6th grade) and Stephanie (3rd grade). I look forward to working with all of you in the year ahead!

Every parent is automatically a member of the Hamlin Parents Association. The PA has two important goals. The first is to foster an environment of fun, friendship, and inclusively for the Hamlin community. The second is to raise crucial funds that support academic excellence at all stages of our girls' Hamlin experience. The PA supports more than 15 different programs and events at Hamlin including the Hamlin Open Golf Tournament, Winterfest, Hamlin Harvest and the Hamlin Spring Fundraiser. Parents are encouraged and invited to participate at events as well as attend PA meetings. The Parents Association holds two open meetings during the school year - one in the fall and one in the spring. We invite you to get involved!

The best way to connect with the Hamlin community is to jump in and volunteer alongside your fellow Hamlin parents. We welcome your enthusiasm, skills, and time! Please visit the volunteer page in the Parents section of the Hamlin website to learn more about ways in which you can get involved. You will find a list of our major events as well as our community committees including PLAID, Lend-A-Hand, Library Committee, Lunch Coordinators, S.P.E.A.K committee, and many more.

Wishing you a happy fall and a wonderful 2016-17 school year,
Andrea Zola
Parents Association President & 3rd and 6th Grade Parent
