Social Justice

List of 1 frequently asked questions.

  • “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”
    - Dr. Martin Luther King.

At its core, Global Citizenship is about equity and embracing the common humanity of all people regardless of geography. The role of a Global Citizen is to recognize injustice locally, regionally, nationally, and around the world. At Hamlin, students are not only aware of inequality, but act creatively to improve conditions. Through confronting social justice issues, our girls build confidence, citizenship skills, and learn leadership through action.

Students listen to the global citizenship representative from UNICEF explain the importance of fundraising for international non-profits.
